• Account analysis remains one of the most important functions in identifying savings to reduce utility costs.
  • The main aim is to drive down overall utility costs and realise saving for the client’s portfolio.
  • Possible savings will be identified and acted upon in terms of the business requirement.
  • We believe the person capturing the data is in the best position to see deviations and report it. The following is looked at:
    • Closing and opening balances of the accounts must match.
    • Readings should follow on each other every month.
    • Is consumption in line with other months?
    • Check that the calculated load factor is within norms.
    • Check that the R/kWh is acceptable.
    • Check if bill differences are correct.
  • Several deviation reports are also run to pick up outliers for investigation.
