With the foundation of the expected system yield and climatic conditions set, the detail design can begin. We use state of the art 3D modelling software to build the site and place the alternative energy plant. In the case of solar PV we would place the PV panels in the available space to determine the possibility of meeting the design criteria. In addition we also use the 3D model to optimise the panel layout in terms of inclination and orientation to deliver maximum yield while assessing the shading impact of the environment and panel orientation. Once the 3D design has been finalised the detail system design in terms of equipment and grid integration can be started.
