Motla Consulting Engineers is proud to be associated with the North-West University – not only for a professional service provided, but also as a sponsor for the Solar Car project. During the 2014 Sasol Solar Challenge, which ended on 6 October, the NWU Solar Car Sirius X25 finished in second and fourth position for the local and international categories respectively, by completing 2 360,6 km in the eight day period.

We regard relationships with tertiary institutions very valuable and are currently engaged in a utility management and software development THRIP project at the NWU, funded by die NRF. Two Motla employees are currently busy with their Master degree studies, contributing to the building of such relationships.

As a result of these relationships, we are about to launch the new version of our well-known Verifica software. This development will take our Utility Management Service to the next level, enabling us to further explore the huge opportunities currently arising as a result of the ever-increasing utility cost.

We are proud to have a variety of large projects throughout South Africa. These projects – from core business projects such as substations, distribution networks and buildings to network development plans – demand side management, utility management, solar power and turnkey projects. Indeed a perfect portfolio to demonstrate the skills, knowledge and experience to provide our customers with the ideal professional service, whatever the needs are.

Our BBE scorecard was upgraded in September form level 4 to level 3, and we were recertified ISO 9001. Our customers can expect something better in the future.

They say scientists discovered the world as it was, whilst engineers create the world as it will be. We still have the two things in life taken for granted: Time and health. Let us use these to create the future and make a difference!
