Lighting proposals require a simple walk through audit for a start, but the investigations can develop into a complete redesign.

Lighting proposals can include, but is not limited to the following:
  • Replace the luminaires in all the areas with more efficient LED luminaire technology.
  • Install lighting control by way of timers, occupancy sensors or a complete building management system to reduce the average annual burning time.
  • It is recommended to replace the complete luminaire and only replace the lamps where it is practically not possible to replace the whole luminaire.
  • The reason for complete luminaire replacement is that, experience has shown (depending on the contractor) that retrofitting the lamps most often means that wiring and control gear have to be changed. This means that any existing warranty lapses and it can create an electrical/fire and safety hazard risk in the building.
